German A2 Online Course

What will I learn in the German A2 online course?
Level A2 is the second level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This German course is suitable for beginners with some previous knowledge. In the German A2 online course you will learn new grammar and vocabulary. You will practise your reading, listening, writing and speaking skills.
Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. personal and family information, shopping, work, local area). Can communicate in simple, routine situations involving a simple and direct exchange of information about familiar and routine matters. Can use simple means to describe his/her own background and education, immediate environment and things related to immediate needs.
- READING:
I can read very short, simple texts. I can find concrete, predictable information in simple everyday texts (e.g. adverts, brochures, menus or timetables) and I can understand short, simple personal letters.
- WRRITING:
I can write short, simple notes and messages. I can write a very simple personal letter. For example, to say thank you for something.
- LISTENING:
I can understand individual sentences and the most common words when it comes to things that are important to me (e.g. very simple information about myself and my family, shopping, work, local area). I understand the essentials of short, clear and simple messages and announcements.
- SPEAKING:
- Taking part in conversations:
I can communicate in simple, routine situations involving a simple and direct exchange of information about familiar topics and activities. I can make very brief contact, but usually do not understand enough to maintain the conversation.
- Speak in a coherent dialogue:
I can describe my family, other people, my living situation, my education and my current or last job using a series of sentences and simple means.
How long does the online course take?
How long you need for the German A2 online course depends entirely on you. An intensive A2 course at a German as a foreign language (DaF) school usually takes around 200 hours - that's 2 months at 25 hours a week (5 hours a day).
Which A2 test can I take?
At the end of the course you can take a recognised test such as the Start Deutsch A2 test from the Goethe Institute.
DEUTSCH-FLOW does not offer an official A2 test.
